Early Pocket preorders will be shipped by the end of March, according to Analogue

Analogue has announced that a new batch of Pocket handhelds will be shipped out at the end of March to those who pre-ordered during the December presale. According to the firm, Group A preorders will begin shipping in the last week of March and will be completed by the end of the month.

That means Analogue has just met its first deadline – before the Game Boy throwback portable was on sale in December, the company promised that those who bought first would receive their Pockets in “Q1 2022.” While this means that the wait for those in Group A is almost over, some people still have a long way to go. Group B is set for Q4 2022, while Group C, as well as any current orders, is set for 2023.

Anyone in Group A should have gotten an email confirming the ship date and informing them that they have until March 13th to update their shipping address if necessary. You can also cancel your preorder by Sunday if you’re in Group A and no longer want the Pocket.
