Apple Set to Unveil Powerful M3 Chip Trio at ‘Scary Fast’ Mac Event

M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max Chips Expected to Bring Performance Enhancements to Apple's Lineup

Apple is gearing up to introduce a trio of powerful M3 chips during its highly anticipated “Scary Fast” Mac event, as reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This event, scheduled to commence at 8 PM ET, is poised to feature several hardware announcements. Gurman had previously hinted at the possibility of a new 24-inch iMac making its debut at the event, along with upgraded MacBook Pros that will be powered by the new M3 chip series.

In his Power On newsletter, Gurman outlines the M3 chip lineup, which is expected to consist of the standard M3 chip, the M3 Pro, and the M3 Max. The standard M3 chip is anticipated to maintain an eight-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, similar to its predecessor, the M2, but with notable improvements in performance speed and memory.
