Woah, big news for PSVR 2 owners! Among Us VR has finally launched on PlayStation 5.
Yup, as announced on the Among Us VR Twitter, the game is now available in the US PlayStation Store for $9.99, with other regions rolling out over the next day. Same price as the Meta Quest and Steam versions.
And even better – it has crossplay with Meta Quest and Steam VR! So PSVR 2 peeps can join up and get sus with friends on other headsets. Love it when multiplayer games let us all play together.
For anyone not familiar with it, Among Us VR takes the whole impostor/crewmate concept from the iconic Among Us and puts it in an immersive first-person environment. You’ll still be doing tasks, calling meetings, and trying to spot the impostors. But now in VR, so you really gotta be aware of your surroundings.
It’s a great addition to the PSVR 2 lineup, especially with the slower than expected sales and game releases so far. Between this, Arizona Sunshine 2, and other launches recently, it seems like the software drought might finally be ending for PSVR 2.
So if you’ve got Sony’s fancy new headset, or were on the fence about buying it, Among Us VR is definitely worth checking out.
