One standout change is the inclusion of a “QHD 2K” camera in the Spin 714, highlighting the increasing need for quality webcams as remote work continues. The 14-inch touchscreen display comes with a 360-degree hinge, allowing the device to be used in tablet mode, while the USI stylus with 4,096 levels of pressure and tilt sensitivity makes it an attractive option for digital artists.

The laptop retains the durable anodized aluminum chassis of the previous model, meeting US MIL-STD 810 durability standards. A fingerprint sensor is included for added security, while the battery is expected to last around 10 hours. The Chromebook Spin 714 starts at $699 and will be available in North America from May, before being released in Europe, the Middle East and Africa from July.
