According to The Race, the Ace Championship intends to construct new designs using Formula E’s outgoing Gen2 chassis, which would likely down entry fees for potential competitors even more. In Barcelona, the series recently tested a modified Gen2 vehicle. It displayed the identical vehicle at the Hyderabad racing circuit, with former Mahindra driver Nick Heidfeld in the driver’s seat.
