Amazon Web Services (AWS) has officially launched its fleet of new Mac Minis, now equipped with Apple’s high-performance M2 Pro chips. This latest addition to the AWS EC2 platform provides customers with the choice between Intel Core i7 x86 CPUs, Apple’s M1, and the new M2 Pro SoCs.
AWS envisions its customers using these Mac Minis for various tasks, including building, testing, packaging, and signing applications designed for Apple hardware such as Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches.
