Microsoft’s Xbox head, Phil Spencer, has confirmed the company’s commitment to the Halo franchise and developer 343 Industries. In an interview with IGN, Spencer expressed confidence in the team at 343, stating that “the heart and soul of Halo are with 343” and that they have a strong plan in place for the future. These comments come after recent company-wide layoffs that reportedly impacted 343, with cuts made to the Halo Infinite campaign team.
