One of the best aspects about computers nowadays is that they are designed for people of diverse backgrounds. Previously, computers were not viable for persons with impairments, particularly visual disabilities, because such people could not operate the computer on their own. Companies throughout the world have finally found a way to allow people with visual impairments to attempt to use the computer on their own, thanks to technological advances. This is the VoiceOver capability, and it is one of the features that come standard with Mac/MacBook machines.
The VoiceOver feature has received generally excellent feedback, with the target demographic reporting that it has enabled them to use computers with ease and, more crucially, with little to no help.
Now, although the voice-over feature was designed for people with impairments, it can still be used by other users as well. The feature is disabled by default, but turning it on is a very simple process and in this tutorial, we will show you how to enable the VoiceOver feature on your Mac/MacBook.
