The global public debut of the 2024 X2 is scheduled for the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, commencing on October 26, 2023. From the initial teaser campaign, it’s clear that BMW has set out to make a bold statement with this second-generation model.
As previously hinted in spy photos, the X2 retains its distinctive and coupe-like silhouette, where the roofline gracefully flows into the rear. The front end maintains an upright posture, and the flared wheel arches exude an air of confidence, resulting in a more mature appearance compared to its predecessor. Key design elements include model-specific headlights, a fresh interpretation of the rear lights, and an optional illuminated BMW kidney grille, distinguishing the X2 from its X1 sibling. Notably, the 2024 X2 becomes the first compact BMW to offer optional 21-inch wheels.
