The response to Dragonflight Legacies has been mostly good, with many players perceiving them as a breath of fresh air after the Jailer’s fractured plot in Shadowlands. Overall, the plot of Dragonflight is considered a return to form for Warcraft mythology, concentrating on the land of Azeroth and telling a more realistic story with recognisable characters.
Though the narrative of Dragonflight’s eventual course is unknown, one of its core themes is shaping out to be the destiny of the Black Dragonflight. World of Warcraft players may help Wrathion or Sabellian secure the role of its new Dragon Aspect, slowly bringing the black dragons back from the verge of extinction, in the next expansion.
