Number 2. Enable two-factor authentication to secure your login

You can also make things harder for hackers by enabling two-factor authentication (2FA). Because you must establish your identity twice, bad actors may be discouraged from pushing their way into your profile.

Most social networking networks now provide this additional degree of protection, which is already a regular practice for safeguarding your email account. Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn are examples.

Number 3. Make sure you set up new device login alerts

This means you’ll get an alert if your account is accessed from a new device. Even if it isn’t a preventative measure, you may instantly recognize it and take appropriate action.
