This Christmas season, Netflix offers a very full slate of movies, with the sequel to Enola Holmes leading the way. At the streamer’s major Tudum event today, it debuted a new teaser for the film, which depicts the aspiring detective laying the groundwork for her crime-solving profession – though things don’t appear to be going so well. The sequel was unveiled last year, and it has a revolving door of actors, including Millie Bobby Brown as Enola, Henry Cavill as her elder brother Sherlock, and Helena Bonham Carter as their mother. Harry Bradbeer is also returning to direct.
Enola Holmes 2 will involve “a mystery of historic proportions,” according to Netflix, and the new video illustrates how the investigation will bring Enola and Sherlock together. In line with recent movie trailers, it also includes a dramatic rendition of Jet’s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl.” On November 4th, the film will be available on Netflix.
