The first Snapdragon-powered ThinkPad delights mobile workers with multi-day battery life, AI-enhanced experiences, and 5G connectivity

Lenovo is excited to introduce the ThinkPad X13s, the world’s first laptop powered by the premium Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 compute platform1 and running Windows 11 Pro, which was created in conjunction with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and Microsoft. The fanless design provides the next level of silent always-on, always-connected PC experiences, as well as the incredible multi-day battery life of up to 28 hours, AI-accelerated experiences, enhanced 5G connectivity options including mmWave, and application support through the Microsoft App Assure program for seamless productivity, security, and collaboration.

The ThinkPad X13s is designed to use less energy, with 90 percent certified recycled magnesium in the top and bottom covers, 97 percent PCC plastic in the battery Printed Circuit Board (PCB) cover and battery frame, and recyclable carton and bumpers in the packing. The ThinkPad X13s has low-power 13.3-inch 16:10 display combinations with touch or Eyesafe reduced blue light options, as well as Lenovo’s low-temperature solder process, which can minimize carbon emissions by up to 35 percent. The requirement for AC power is decreased, which might help reduce energy consumption.

Delight Users

Hybrid employees, global travelers, field technicians, and front-line professionals will appreciate the laptop’s small weight of 1.06kg (2.35 pounds), as well as the virtual removal of daily power anxiety and connectivity issues as they travel between work-from-anywhere sites. When Wi-Fi 6E is unavailable or a public hotspot isn’t secure enough, the device can convert to 5G mmWave or sub-Wireless WAN for lightning-fast, highly secure communication on the go.
