The Beats Pill Plus has been resurrected by Apple in a limited-edition collaboration

In conjunction with fashion designer Stüssy, Beats is launching a limited-edition variant of their discontinued Beats Pill Plus. The announcement comes just a few months after Apple said the Beats Pill Plus will be discontinued in January.

In 2015, Apple produced the original Beats Pill Plus speaker, which was somewhat bigger than the original Beats Pill. It was the first speaker Apple produced after its $3 billion acquisition of Beats in 2014. This new Pill Plus version will be available for a limited period only.

The new Pill Plus will be sleek black with a white skull and crossbones motif on the front of the speaker, similar to the original. “The only good system is a sound system,” reads one side of the speaker. The new Pill Plus will mix the “signature Southern California look with a rich, clear sound field that will improve your listening experience everywhere,” according to Stüssy’s website.

On Friday, March 4th, at 10 a.m. PST, the speaker will be available worldwide on Stüssy’s website.
