Square Enix has sparked hope among fans as it revealed that it is considering the possibility of further remasters of its classic older games. During a recent shareholders’ meeting, the board was asked about plans to remaster other titles from its archives, referencing the success of games like Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster.
Although the response from the Square Enix board was non-committal, it hinted at potential future announcements. A representative stated, “We are considering various ideas within the company and hope that you will look forward to forthcoming announcements.”
