Given that Bethesda just published the Skyrim Anniversary Edition for Switch, the company is clearly continuing its pattern of re-releasing its valuable asset as often as feasible. It’s up to you whether it’s a good thing or a terrible thing, but the fact that the game is still running strong, even as it enters its 11th year, demonstrates that Skyrim clearly has something going for it. Or maybe it’s because there isn’t a TES6 to continue on the heritage.
