After months of teasing leaks and rumours, Humane has officially launched its AI pin, and we still are yet to figure out what it is, why it was made, and whether it is even worth its unconventional price tag.
Let’s start from the top. What exactly is this AI pin?
The AI pin by Humane, is a square device that can act like a smartphone. However, it has no display, attached to your clothing via a clip which is also its battery. So, if you run out of battery, you will have to replace the clip. If you have ever used an iPod Shuffle, it’s shaped like that and has AI capabilities. Powering this device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, and also has a camera, and motion sensor, but with all of this, there is no screen.
