To mark the imminent release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and the commencement of beta access, the Call of Duty Next Showcase livestream showcased 250 players battling it out on new maps. The event also shed light on what players can expect from this highly anticipated FPS game.
During the livestream, players got their first look at the all-new loadout screen. A noticeable change is the division of perks into three distinct categories: boots, gloves, and gear. Fans of the franchise will be delighted to know that “some fan favorites come back,” as revealed by Kim Weigend, the development director for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. “We’ve reimagined some perks and introduced new ones into the mix.”
