OnePlus Open Teased to Outshine Z Fold 5 with Exceptional Foldable Screen Innovation

The OnePlus Open, OnePlus’ upcoming foldable phone, is rumored to feature an impressive display, potentially outperforming Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 in terms of screen quality.

According to leaks from Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Open is expected to have a main unfolded display measuring 7.82 inches with a resolution of 2440 x 2268 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 426 PPI. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 offers a 7.6-inch display with a resolution of 2176 x 1812 pixels and a pixel density of 373 PPI.

The rumored display specifications could give OnePlus an edge in marketing its foldable phone as having one of the best screens in the foldable smartphone market. While the difference in pixel density might not be very noticeable to the naked eye, it could still be a selling point for potential buyers.

Additionally, the leak suggests that the OnePlus Open will feature an outer screen measuring 6.31 inches with a resolution of 1116 x 2484 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 432 PPI. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 6.2-inch outer screen with a resolution of 904 x 2316 pixels and a pixel density of 401 PPI.

The OnePlus Open is also rumored to come in two color options: ‘Voyage Black’ and ‘Emerald Eclipse’ (black and green).

It’s important to note that these details are based on leaks and rumors, and the actual specifications of the OnePlus Open may vary when the device is officially unveiled. OnePlus has confirmed that it plans to release a foldable phone in the near future, but an exact launch date has not been announced yet.
