Sony has unveiled the titles that will be added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium levels this month, and the current batch is a doozy. Horizon Forbidden West, one of the few significant first-party PS5 titles to date, is the clear highlight. Horizon Zero Dawn 2 was released a year ago and was one of the top ten best-selling games in the United States in 2022, according to NPD statistics (not accounting for digital sales on Switch and Xbox). Subscribers will be able to purchase both the PS4 and PS5 versions.
The main tale alone will take you roughly 28 hours to complete. Nonetheless, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will have plenty of time to go through Aloy’s newest major adventure before the Burning Shores update for the PS5 releases on April 19th.
The remainder of the February programme is as impressive. If you have an Extra or Premium membership, you’ll soon be able to play PS4 and PS5 versions of The Quarry, Outriders, Bandai Namco’s action RPG Scarlet Nexus, The Forgotten City, and Borderlands 3 for free. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Tekken 7, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Earth Defense Force 5, Oninaki, Lost Sphear, and I Am Setsuna will all be available on the PlayStation 4.
Not only that, but Premium members will have access to PlayStation 1 games The Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms 2, and Harvest Moon: Return to Nature, as well as other features like up-rendering, rewinding, fast save, and custom video filters. The PS4 remake of Destroy All Humans! is also on its way there. All of these games will be available for download on February 21st.
Nevertheless, PS Plus Essential subscribers may add a decent selection of titles to their library this month. You may grab OlliOlli World, Mafia: Final Edition, Evil Dead: The Game, and Destiny 2: Beyond Light until March 6th. On the negative side, Sony will discontinue the PlayStation Plus Collection, which gives users with a PS5 access to a slew of PS4 titles, on May 9th. Before then, be sure to add those titles to your library.
