Published by Annapurna Interactive, Storyteller initially made its debut on Nintendo Switch and PC on March 23rd, marking the culmination of over a decade of development.
The brainchild of solo creator Daniel Benmergui, Storyteller was first announced in 2011. The game’s prototype even earned recognition for innovation by winning the prestigious Nuovo award at the Game Developers Conference in 2012. However, Benmergui faced various challenges and put the project on hold for several years. With renewed determination, he resumed work on Storyteller and eventually joined forces with Annapurna as the game’s publishing partner.
