Microsoft Introduces Three Business Laptops Designed for Productivity and Collaboration

Microsoft has revealed its latest iterations of leading laptops, targeting business customers who rely on its software, including the latest advancements in artificial intelligence technology.

The company has emphasized that its three new business laptops are crafted with productivity, creativity, and collaboration in mind. However, beyond these aspects, Microsoft aims to cater to IT professionals and decision-makers by offering control and longevity in its devices.

In conjunction with these laptop announcements, Microsoft has also introduced its latest offering for meeting rooms: the Surface Hub 3, designed for whiteboarding and video conferencing, which is covered in a separate announcement.

A Trio of New Surface Laptops for Business

  1. Surface Laptop Studio 2: This device combines the functionality and practicality of a laptop with the versatility of a tablet. Its touchscreen supports the Surface Slim Pen 2 for on-the-go note-taking and design work. Microsoft highlights that the 13th Gen Intel Core processors in this laptop deliver more than double the performance of its predecessor. Equipped with Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada Generation or Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 and 4060 GPUs, it is well-suited for media-intensive tasks.
  2. Surface Laptop Go 3: Positioned as ideal for typical office workers, this laptop can also handle demanding workloads with up to 16GB of RAM. It promises an impressive 15 hours of battery life and supports fast charging for quick replenishment.
  3. Surface Go 4: This upgraded tablet-laptop hybrid features an improved battery and delivers up to 4.5 times more performance than the original Surface Go. Microsoft sees it as particularly suitable for healthcare and retail workers due to its compact size.

The new laptops are available for purchase through the Microsoft store, with pricing set at $3,669 for the Surface Laptop Studio 2, $1,279 for the Surface Laptop Go 3, and $959 for the Surface Go 4.
