Microsoft Teams is finally arriving on Android Auto next month, nearly a year after Google first announced the integration at I/O 2022. Android Auto allows Android phones to display apps on a car’s built-in infotainment system. The addition of Teams was revealed via Microsoft’s 365 roadmap.
Details are slim regarding how exactly Teams will function through Android Auto. Microsoft simply said you’ll be able to “join meetings and make calls” via the calendar interface. It’s unclear if other key Teams features like messaging or file collaboration will be supported – and those might be risky to use while driving anyhow!
