Microsoft improves security and performance of Android apps on Windows 11

Windows 11 users can now enjoy a more secure and enhanced experience when using Android apps on their desktop, thanks to a recent update to the Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA). The update, identified as WSA version 2304.40000.3.0, introduces important features aimed at bolstering security and optimizing performance, as reported by Windows Latest.

One of the notable additions is the implementation of package verification for Android apps being installed on a Windows 11 system via WSA. Prior to the installation process, the app is scanned by the user’s default antivirus software. If any suspicious elements are detected, the setup will be canceled to prevent potential security threats.
