Microsoft Edge adds “Quick Clear” feature to easily delete browsing data

Microsoft is currently testing a new functionality in its Edge browser that allows users to easily clear their browsing history and cache. The feature was spotted by Twitter user Leopeva64 in the Canary version of Edge, which is the earliest testing stage for the browser.

The new feature introduces a trash can icon within the History hub of Edge. Clicking on the icon takes users directly to the clear data panel, where they can select the specific data they want to remove, such as cache, browsing history, download history, or cookies. Although technically a two-click process, the shortcut to access the clear data panel streamlines the clearing process.
