Marvel’s Avengers has just released a lot of additional outfits, and developer Crystal Dynamics is still digging deep into the back issues for odd possibilities. The game introduced another new look today, this time for Iron Man. Iron Man volume 5, issue #24 introduced the Cold Iron armour. Tony employed a unique type of armour to penetrate Svartalfheim, often known as the home of the Dark Elves, in that issue. Luke Ross, who probably created the armour in question, illustrates the problem.
The Tweet attached below has a small preview of the Cold Iron armour.

Of course, Avengers fans couldn’t help but notice the resemblances to War Machine’s design! While Rhodey is not one of the available characters in the game, he seems to be a sensible inclusion. War Machine has appeared in comic books for decades, and he is well-known among casual audiences because of his participation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Rhodey poised to appear in Iron Man: Armor Wars, he seems to be a perfect fit for Marvel’s Avengers. It’s unknown what the developer’s intentions are beyond the Winter Soldier’s debut, but fans certainly have a preference in mind!
For the time being, fans will have to make do with the revealed material and any extra outfits. One of the nicest things about these obscure outfits is that their inclusion in the game may motivate people to read books they would not have otherwise. Characters like Iron Man have been around for decades, and they’ve had a variety of designs during that time. Hopefully, Crystal Dynamics will discover even more creative ideas in the future!
Marvel’s Avengers is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and PC.
