Tesla has been spearheading the EV revolution around the world, and one of their offerings that has generated immense profit is there supercharger technology. The American EV maker has been making a neat profit by selling theit supercharger technology to other EV brands, but it looks like their monopoly may be coming to an end, thanks to their close rival, Lotus.
The British born carmaker, who is now part of the Chinese automotive brand Geely, has received some immense financial backing and are now preparing some innovative technologies that can take the fight to Tesla, and one of them, is liquid cooled superchargers.
Recently, Lotus took the first set towards this mission by introducing ultra-fasting charging stations that can deliver up to 450kW to those vehicles equipped to accept that kind of charging.
