Tomorrow Corporation has revealed a surprise Ho Ho Holiday Expansion for their peculiar fire-lighting puzzle game Little Inferno. As the tenth anniversary of Little Inferno’s release on PC and Wii U approaches, Tomorrow Corporation seems to be feeling nostalgic. Few expected Tomorrow Corporation to return to Little Inferno, and maybe even Tomorrow Corporation is startled. Regardless, the Ho Ho Ho Holiday Expansion is on its way and will be available for free to Little Inferno gamers shortly.
Little Inferno challenges players to burn stuff. In the game’s plot, the player has bought a Little Inferno Entertainment Fireplace, a toy that children may use to burn various items to keep warm. The player will be entrusted with burning objects of increasing value and gruesome design, as well as darkly humorous item combinations. Little Inferno players will encounter a frightening, but somehow charming tale by burning items. It’s ideal for a holiday-themed expansion.
The Ho Ho Holiday addition for Little Inferno will provide players with a variety of festive items to burn. There will be 20 new toys available for torching, as well as 50 new combinations combining Christmas products with previous catalogue purchases. There’s also a unique Infinite Yule Log that burns forever, which is both interesting and strange given that the purpose of Little Inferno is to burn everything.
After 10 years… it's time to return…

It wouldn’t be a Little Inferno experience unless there was a narrative to be discovered by burning items. Tomorrow Corporation touts it as a frightening new Christmas narrative that warns players that something bad is on the way. There’s also a strange new figure to meet, who is both terrifying and thrilling.
One major concern is how the Ho Ho Holiday Expansion will fit into the overall tale of Little Inferno. It might be a basic side narrative, or it could be a fascinating way to complement the main plot. Fans of Little Inferno may even hope that the expansion may hint to a sequel or anything new from Tomorrow Corporation. Regardless, fans will be grateful that the tiny development team was ready to provide something nice for its followers after all these years.
Of course, Tomorrow Corporation is still quite active. While it remains mute on the status of Welcome to the Information Superhighway, it is active in other ways. In 2021, Tomorrow Corporation released 7 Billion Humans for Android and its first game, The Captain. It has also just introduced new goods, including a Little Inferno Sugar Plumps plush. Hopefully, its efforts will be rewarded, and a slew of new gamers will check out Little Inferno this Christmas season. The new update will be available on November 18 for PC and shortly afterwards for Nintendo Switch.
Little Inferno is now available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile platforms.
