Lando Norris Rejects Idea of F1 Cars Being Designed Around a Single Driver

In a recent exclusive interview with Dutch publication RacingNews365.com, McLaren driver Lando Norris shared his perspective on the notion that Formula 1 cars are designed around a specific driver. Norris firmly rejected the idea and stressed that it’s the driver’s responsibility to adapt to the car they are given.

The discussion arose following comments by Toto Wolff, the head of Mercedes, suggesting that Max Verstappen’s dominant performance was a result of Red Bull designing their RB19 car around him. Verstappen, as well as Red Bull’s team principal Christian Horner and Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez, denied this claim.
