Jack Dorsey is attempting to dispel suspicions that he would be reinstalled as CEO of Twitter once Elon Musk takes over. On Wednesday, he tweeted, “nope, I’ll never be CEO again,” in response to someone predicting he would return to run the company he co-founded, before stating that he did not desire the position.
Dorsey responds that “no one eventually” should be Twitter’s CEO, possibly referring to Bluesky, a project aimed at transforming Twitter into a decentralized protocol rather than a typical social network.
