Throughout the event, Hydreigon and Dragapult will be able to appear in four and five-star raids, giving them the opportunity to use their Hidden Abilities. While every Hydreigon is guaranteed to have to Levitate since it is the species’ sole conceivable ability, Dragapult discovered in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raids may have the Hidden Ability Cursed Body. While Cursed Body is far from Dragapult’s best talent, the prospect of its existing allows for some effective mind games while facing others.
But this event is unlikely to be as challenging as the seven-star Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Cinderace Tera Raid Event, Hydreigon and Dragapult remain two solid Pokemon with exceptionally high base numbers that make them a substantial danger in competitive play – though Dragapult’s adaptability and sometimes unequalled speed tier lead in it being historically better when compared to Hydreigon, who is hindered by a devastating 4x weakness to Fairy.
