Google Pixel Buds Pro Set to Debut New Porcelain and Sky Blue Colors Alongside Pixel 8 Launch

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 4, as Google gears up for a grand unveiling of new Pixel hardware. In addition to the much-anticipated smartphones and the Pixel Watch 2, it appears that fans of the Pixel Buds Pro are in for a treat with the introduction of two new captivating colors.

This exciting development comes from tipster Paras Guglani and 9to5Google, both of whom have confirmed that Porcelain and Sky Blue shades will soon join the existing quartet of colors available for the Pixel Buds Pro: Charcoal, Lemongrass, Fog, and Coral.

The reason behind these new additions is said to be a harmonious match with two of the colors featured on the Pixel 8 Pro. As some may recall, a leaked Google promotional video recently showcased the Pixel 8 Pro in a stunning Sky Blue hue.

Furthermore, Porcelain made an appearance earlier this week when an image on the Google Store online platform displayed the Pixel 8 Pro in this elegant shade, offering a sneak peek at what may also be the Pixel Watch 2.

The Pixel Buds Pro, launched in late July 2022, marked Google’s foray into the world of active noise-canceling earbuds. They continue to serve as Google’s flagship earbuds, and are currently available for purchase at $199.99 / £199 / AU$199 through Google’s official store.

This color expansion marks the first time the Pixel Buds Pro have received new hues since their initial release. While it may come as a surprise to some, hidden references to additional shades, including Porcelain, have previously been uncovered in the companion app.

All the exciting details will be unveiled on October 4, when Google is expected to showcase its flagship Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, both of which have been extensively leaked in recent months.

The presence of the Google Pixel Watch 2 at the event is also highly anticipated. Stay tuned, as TechRadar will be providing live coverage of the event, delivering all the latest announcements as Google presents them to the world.
