In a remarkable gaming feat, a player on the Garuda server in Japan has achieved the extraordinary accomplishment of unlocking all 2,751 achievements in Final Fantasy 14, a full decade after the game’s initial launch.
As reported by GamesRadar and initially announced on the Final Fantasy 14 subreddit, this monumental achievement was verified by the achievement tracking website Lalachievements. The dedicated player, a Lalafell character, stands as the first person to conquer every single achievement in the popular MMO.
The diverse array of Final Fantasy 14 achievements encompasses varying degrees of difficulty, making this accomplishment all the more astonishing. To attain this milestone, the player had to conquer some of the game’s most challenging content, including successfully completing all five Ultimate raids and remarkably clearing all three Deep Dungeons solo. Furthermore, they amassed over 20,000 hoards from these Deep Dungeons, accomplished 2,000 successful mentor roulettes, secured 3,000 victories in Frontline battles, and collected every relic weapon from A Realm Reborn to Endwalker, among numerous other notable feats.
Notably, the player even undertook the daunting task of completing every Levequest achievement, a feat that is time-gated and requires a minimum of seven years to achieve.
While the world of Final Fantasy 14 continuously evolves with each major update, introducing fresh achievements, this accomplished player currently holds the prestigious top position among all Final Fantasy 14 enthusiasts. Their dedication and tenacity have earned them a well-deserved place in the annals of gaming history.
As the game moves forward, Final Fantasy 14 update 6.5, titled ‘Growing Light,’ is poised for release on October 3. This update will introduce new content and serve as the initial part of the final patch leading up to the next expansion, Dawntrail.
Dawntrail, set to launch in the summer of 2024, will take players on a captivating journey to the New World, Tural, across the ocean. This expansion will mark the MMO’s debut on Xbox Series X|S and usher in the game’s first graphics update in a decade, promising a fresh and enhanced gaming experience for all adventurers in the realm of Final Fantasy 14.
