Endless Dungeon Launch Delayed to October 19th, Announces Publisher Amplitude Studios

Amplitude Studios and Sega have announced that the release date for Endless Dungeon has been pushed back to October 19th. Originally slated for a 2022 launch, the game will now be released on Steam and Epic, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on May 18th, 2023. In a statement, the developers mentioned the importance of taking extra time to work on the game after receiving feedback from their OpenDev sessions. They also promised to announce a release date for the Nintendo Switch at a later time.

The additional time will be used to address bugs and improve key elements of the game. The developers aim to make player progression feel less random and more organic, while also tweaking the economy to make all three resources more important to the game. The scarcity of resources will be essential to ensuring that investment decisions feel impactful. Other changes, such as differentiating districts from one another and improving certain aspects of the multiplayer mode, will also be incorporated.

Those who choose to wait for the game’s release instead of canceling their pre-order will receive three additional skins for Comrade, Fassie, and Shroom. These skins will also be available to early buyers at no additional cost for a limited time. Keep in mind that the game’s planned Closed Beta, which can be accessed by purchasing the Last Wish Edition, has also been postponed until September due to the delay in Endless Dungeon’s release.
