Dead by Daylight, the popular survival horror game, is set to receive an exciting update with its latest killer, The Skull Merchant. The new addition is a tech executive with a twisted hobby of using the skulls of her victims to craft drones to hunt her next prey. The game’s developer, Behavior Interactive, is also adding two new survivors to the game, bringing fresh cooperative play options to the horror game.
The Skull Merchant’s power, Eyes in the Sky, allows her to send up to four drones to scout for survivors. She can then use her hand claw to eliminate them. The new survivors, Thalita and Renato Lyra, are siblings from Brazil who bring teamwork perks to encourage cooperative play. The game’s existing Shelter Woods arena has also been updated to include The Skull Merchant’s hunting ground.
This update, called “Tools of Torment,” is set to release on March 7th for PC and consoles. The game, which first launched in 2016, has amassed a large following of players who enjoy the game’s unique blend of horror and survival gameplay. The addition of The Skull Merchant and the new survivors is sure to add more excitement to the game and provide players with new ways to survive the horrors of Dead by Daylight.
