CD Projekt Red (CDPR) announced in September that it will release Phantom Liberty, an expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 that would introduce characters and a new setting to the game. Now, the developer has stated that if you want to see what’s new in Night City, you’ll have to pay for the DLC when it becomes available. “As for the expansion’s cost – we have not announced the information yet, but it will be a paid one,” CDPR’s worldwide PR director Radek Grabowski told GamesRadar+. According to Grabowski, the developer’s expansions are “traditionally cheaper than full-price titles.” It’s worth noting that Cyberpunk 2077 cost $60 when it first came out.
