Previously, Baldur’s Gate 3 predominantly featured a top-down view during exploration, coupled with the option to zoom in using the scroll wheel on PC. The game also incorporated a Tactical view, a distinct camera angle used during combat encounters. The camera mod not only transforms the exploration view but also adjusts the Tactical view to offer a more focused field of view, delivering a visually engaging experience.
In tandem with these mod innovations, Larian Studios, the developer of Baldur’s Gate 3, confirmed that the first major update for the game will include an impressive 1,000 fixes and tweaks. The studio’s CEO and founder, Swen Vincke, revealed that the development focus is currently on smaller patches, with the upcoming Hotfix four to be followed by the first update. The second patch will subsequently incorporate player-requested features, potentially including appearance editing, a highly anticipated feature currently under development.
