Baldur’s Gate 3 Mods Transform the Game into Captivating Third-Person RPG Experience
Exciting developments are occurring in the Baldur’s Gate 3 gaming community as two new mods have surfaced, fundamentally altering the gameplay experience. Crafted by modders Ch4nKyy and Ershin and available on Nexus Mods, these modifications have the potential to reshape the top-down, turn-based game into a third-person RPG reminiscent of titles like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The first mod, dubbed “WASD movement,” introduces a novel way of controlling characters within the game. Players can now utilize the WASD keys to navigate their avatars, eliminating the need for constant left-clicking to traverse the world of Baldur’s Gate 3. Furthermore, the mod allows users to toggle between character movement and camera movement using the caps lock key. Auto-run is enabled through the Shift+W combination. The creator of the mod has plans to implement additional features, including a toggle for sprinting and walking, as well as an automatic toggle mode during combat encounters.
