Apple is reportedly in the process of developing an emergency patch for the recently launched iOS 16.4 in an effort to address several bugs that have been reported by users. Although it is not set in stone, indications suggest that the upcoming update, iOS 16.4.1, may be targeting issues with the Weather app, which has been displaying “Weather Unavailable” messages on the widget, rendering it useless for many users. Apple appears to be aware of this issue, as the company’s System Status page lists the Weather service as experiencing ongoing problems that may make it “slow or unavailable” to some users.
