The new chip is the only significant improvement here. To be clear, this type of the M2 Pro isn’t worth the upgrading for most previous MacBook Pro customers, and its graphics performance is still significantly inferior to the M2 Max processor found in the more expensive Pro models. This entry-level model’s storage performance is theoretically slower than the previous entry-level 14-inch Pro due to the way its NAND chips are arranged.
