Back in January, we awarded the current 14-inch MacBook Pro a review score of 92. Despite the fact that that evaluation was based on a higher-power configuration than this discounted model, the overall advantages remain the same. The new MacBook Pro is effectively a speed bump, but it is still a speedy and well-built laptop for hardcore users. Its display is still excellent, its keyboard and touchpad are still comfortable, its speakers are still excellent, and its battery life can still last for a whole work day. On the other hand, even with the price, the entire system is still costly and hardly upgradeable, but that’s a common scenario with Macs. This entry-level model also has a 67W charger, although more costly models have a quicker 96W converter in the package.
