This week, Microsoft appears to be revealing Xbox agreements at an alarming rate. On Tuesday, Microsoft announced Xbox Cloud Gaming support for Meta Quest 2 as well as several new Chromebooks. Microsoft has now partnered with Apple to provide an Apple Music app for Xbox systems.
According to Eurogamer, you can get the software on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S console by searching for it or downloading it from the Microsoft Store. You can listen to Apple Music in the background while gaming, just as you can with other music applications on Xbox, such as Spotify and Pandora. You may see music videos, listen to time-synced lyrics, and build playlists with the Apple Music app. You’ll also have access to tailored gaming playlists.
Although Apple Music has been accessible on the PlayStation 5 for the last year, Xbox players had to wait over two years into the Xbox Series X/S lifespan for the software to become available. Since the Series X/S arrived in 2020, Apple TV has been offered on Xbox systems.
