Analogue Unveils Limited Edition Transparent Pockets, A Nostalgic Tribute to Classic Handhelds

Manufacturer offers a trip down memory lane with clear Pocket consoles inspired by the Game Boy Color

Just weeks after the release of its glow-in-the-dark Pocket console, Analogue is once again setting the stage for a limited edition launch that will transport gamers back to their youth. On September 29 at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET, Analogue will begin selling transparent Pockets, reminiscent of the iconic clear Game Boy Color consoles from the past.

Gamers will have the option to choose from seven transparent colors: clear, smoke, red, blue, orange, green, and purple. The allure of nostalgia comes with a price tag of $250 per console, a $30 premium over the basic versions that are currently out of stock. These transparent editions will be available in limited quantities, with Analogue confirming that they will never be restocked. Given the swift sellout of the glow-in-the-dark edition in mere minutes, prospective buyers are advised to be online precisely when the new models become available.
