AIRSEEKERS says its new Tron and Tron SE robomowers can cut lawns without perimeter wires — and with a little more “eyes and brains” than most.
The company is launching the AIRSEEKERS Tron and Tron SE series in Europe and the U.S., positioning the pair as premium robotic mowers that rely on AI-powered vision and RTK-style positioning instead of the usual boundary wire setup. The pitch: faster setup, fewer “stuck robot” moments, and a cleaner cut that also acts like a mulching system.
At the center of the announcement is what AIRSEEKERS calls FlowCut™ — a dual-layer blade system that spins at up to 3,000 RPM and creates an “X-shaped vortex” to chop clippings into finer pieces before sending them back into the lawn. The company claims that produces grass particles that are about 30% smaller than typical systems, which it says can help retain moisture and improve lawn density over time.
Of course, lawn tech claims always sound great in a press release — the real test is how well a robot handles uneven yards, edges, wet patches, pets and the kind of random objects that appear in real gardens. AIRSEEKERS argues the Tron lineup is built for that messiness: its “300° AI Vision” system is said to identify more than 150 object types so the mower can navigate around obstacles rather than bumping into them or shutting down.
Setup without wires (and hopefully without headaches)
AIRSEEKERS is also leaning hard into quick installation. The company says the Tron and Tron SE models use NRTK positioning and automatic mapping, and don’t require an external RTK antenna — a setup detail that can be a dealbreaker for consumers who don’t want extra hardware mounted in their yard. AIRSEEKERS claims a full setup can be done in under five minutes.
Pricing is firmly in “premium gadget” territory. AIRSEEKERS lists the Tron series at €1,999 MSRP (with €1,799 early-bird pricing in the EU) and $1,999 MSRP ($1,799 early-bird) in the U.S. The Tron SE series is listed at €1,699 MSRP (€1,499 early bird) in the EU and $1,699 MSRP ($1,499 early bird) in the U.S.
Why this matters
Robotic lawn mowers are inching toward the same inflection point robot vacuums hit years ago: consumers expect “set it and forget it,” not a weekend project involving boundary wires and constant rescues. If AIRSEEKERS can actually deliver fast setup, reliable navigation and a consistently good cut, the Tron lineup could be a credible alternative to incumbents in the high-end robomower market.
Company background: AIRSEEKERS is a consumer robotics brand focused on autonomous lawn care, with the Tron and Tron SE positioned as its flagship wire-free robotic mower lineup.
