Haas F1 Unveils ‘Stars and Stripes’ Livery and New Upgrades for US Grand Prix

The Haas F1 Team is set to celebrate its American roots in style at this weekend’s United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), unveiling a bold ‘Stars and Stripes’ livery alongside a fresh round of performance updates for its VF-25. The Austin race, running from October 17th to 19th, marks Haas’s second home event of the 2025 season after Miami.

The new livery proudly integrates elements of the American flag, with red, white, and blue graphics prominently displayed on the front wings and side pods. Compared to earlier designs, the car now features less white and more black and red, giving the VF-25 a sharper, more aggressive look.

Driver Esteban Ocon expressed excitement about the team’s patriotic design and the energy of the fans:

“As this is one of our home races, I think the American fans will create a great atmosphere. I’m looking forward to driving the special livery car. I want to make it a weekend that will please the fans back home.”

This marks the third special livery Haas has showcased in 2025. At the Japanese Grand Prix, the team sported a cherry blossom pink design to honor its technical partnership with Toyota, while the Canadian Grand Prix featured a retro livery commemorating Haas’s 200th F1 race.

Beyond aesthetics, Haas will introduce a small update package for the VF-25 aimed at refining performance. However, given the sprint weekend format, the team will have just one practice session (FP1) to evaluate the changes before qualifying.

Team Principal Ayao Komatsu emphasized precision and adaptability:

“We will be introducing a small update package this time. However, because it is a sprint format, we will only have a chance to evaluate it in FP1. It is important that we perform perfectly from the very first session.”

Rookie driver Oliver Bearman, who will make his first US Grand Prix appearance, also shared his optimism about the upcoming weekend:

“I feel like we’re gaining momentum with each passing weekend. We have the speed in the car and with the updates coming in, I’m sure we’ll have a strong weekend in Austin. This will be my first US Grand Prix as a Haas driver and I’m looking forward to experiencing the passion and atmosphere of the American fans. COTA will definitely be one of the highlights of the season.”

Heading into Austin, Haas sits ninth in the Constructors’ Championship with 46 points, just nine points behind Sauber in eighth. With the team’s updates and home support, both Ocon and Bearman will be aiming to close that gap and deliver a memorable result for the home crowd.
