Think Differently
Unlike major robotics projects that create AI-driven products to replace humans or human tasks, the MiMi robot will have a human operator (OP) remotely control it with AI assistance. This approach addresses the trust issues with robots: while AI-driven robots can fail and lose trust, a human-operated robot can fail, retry, and maintain an acceptable, even humorous, interaction with the world. This balance allows for both proven AI-driven tasks, like answering weather queries, and human-controlled learning processes that can later be automated.
