When it comes to uploading a video on Youtube, one of the toughest decisions that a creator can make is to assign the right kind of music to make their content stand out. Now, most of the trending and catchy songs in the market attract copyright strikes on the platform, making it difficult to monetise your content if you are eligible for the same. Sometimes, the music owners are so strict, they can even get your video taken down if they detect their content being used. Initially, this was a cause of a lot of confusion and frustration, but then, Youtube decided to solve the problem by introducing their very own audio library.
The Audio Library hosts a set of music that creators can use in their videos, without the risk of a copyright strike. One thing to note however, is that some of the tracks so require that you attribute the artist, but there are some tracks that are absolutely usable without any attribution.

How to download free music for your YouTube Video
Step 1. Open the web browser on your computer. You can use absolutely any web browser for this. We will be using the all-new Arc browser. You can download the same using this link.
Step 2. Now, in the URL bar, enter www.youtube.com to head to YouTube.
Step 3. Once you are on the YouTube home page, make sure you have logged into your account.
Step 4. Once you have successfully signed in, click on the profile icon at the top right hand side of the page.
Step 5. From the drop down menu that appears, click on the ‘YouTube Studio’ option.
Step 6. You will now find yourself in the channel dashboard. Here, on the left hand side pane, click on the ‘Audio Library’ option.
Step 7. You will now see the YouTube Audio Library with its entire list of usable music. Browse through the list and once you like the sound, simply click on the ‘Download’ option at the right hand side of the sound and it will be downloaded to your computer.
Once the sound has been downloaded, you can use the same in your video project, and when you are ready to upload it to YouTube, you can do so without worrying about a copyright strike.
