Google has introduced emoji reactions for Gmail on Android devices, allowing users to react to emails with emojis similar to how they do in instant messaging. The feature includes a menu of emoji options that users can choose from when responding to emails. Reactions will appear next to a smiley face icon at the bottom of emails, and some emojis come with short animations, such as digital confetti for the party popper emoji. However, non-Gmail users in the email chain will receive each reaction as a separate email.
