Ubisoft has addressed concerns raised last week regarding the deletion of inactive accounts containing purchased games. A tweet from a user had shown an email mentioning the impending permanent closure of an account due to inactivity, causing worry among gamers.
However, Ubisoft has since clarified that they will not delete accounts with purchased games if users log in within 30 days of receiving the email. By simply logging in and selecting the “Cancel Account Closure” link in the email, gamers can avoid losing access to their Ubisoft games.
