Opera One’s Generative AI Makes Browsing More Personal and Efficient

Opera, the web browser developer, has announced the public release of its generative AI-infused browser, Opera One, marking its exit from early access. The browser is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux users, who can download it directly from Opera’s website.

One of the key features of Opera One is its integrated AI assistant called Aria, accessible from the browser’s sidebar. Users can activate Aria using a keyboard shortcut (CTRL or Command and “/”). Starting with this release, the AI assistant is also available in Opera’s Android browser.

Opera’s partnership with OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, has enabled the development of Aria. The AI assistant leverages the power of GPT to provide users with answers to their queries, incorporating real-time information from the web. Aria can generate text or code and assist users with support-related questions regarding Opera products. The browser also facilitates the generation of contextual prompts for Aria through right-clicking or highlighting text. Additionally, users have the option to access other AI models like ChatGPT or ChatSonic from the Opera One sidebar.
